Each year, VisualResearch, Inc. provides a short-term internship to a limited number of students in an effort to develop and reinforce the practical application of research and data analysis techniques, data and information presentation strategies, writing proficiency, or graphic design and layout. These internships offer real-world experience, and applicants who successfully complete the program will have demonstrated an ability to complete a variety of project tasks working both independently and in small groups. The goal is to match a student's specific or range of interests with a need of our firm to create a mutually beneficial relationship.

We will select exceptional students ranging from rising high school seniors to college seniors, who have a working to proficient experience in data analytics, research, visual storytelling, motion graphics, social media, or other pertinent skill set. Projects can run for 3-8 weeks depending on their complexity, and often take place in June or July. Inquiries or questions should be directed to Neal B. Kauder, at 804.794.3144. An initial phone contact will determine eligibility and an application will be sent by e-mail.
